Part I is the full body of the report giving an analysis of the returns for 2009. There is also a section on the UK equal opportunities environment and the broadcast industry context in which the L&D professional has to operate. It reviews the data gathered in some detail but for those with limited time we recommend they read the conclusions and recommendations section.

Part II is the Appendices which gives key statistics and analysis based on last year’s Ofcom data and the data gathered in this the first year of the co-regulatory EO self-evaluation framework. It has been provided for readers who wish to review the source data that underpins Part I. Further appendices provide background information about the new co-regulatory, self-evaluation framework, definitions of terms, the EO Planning Group and Advisory Panel and the Sections of the 2003 Communications Act.
